Riverdale, NY - Junior Pauly Paulicap (Elmont, NY / Harcum College) scored a career-high 24 points with a game-high 10 rebounds and five blocks, but it wasn't enough as Stony Brook used a game-ending 11-3 run to post a 69-62 win over Manhattan in non-conference action at Draddy Gymnasium.
In defeat, the Jaspers committed a season-low 10 turnovers while shooting a season-high 73.9 percent (17-of-23) from the line with a season-best seven blocks.

Paulicap was joined in double-figures on offense by freshman Warren Williams (Kingston, Jamaica / St. Benedict's Prep), who finished with 10 points.
After halftime, Manhattan erased a pair of eight-point deficits with big runs but was unable to withstand a dominating free throw exhibition by the visitors, which made 17-straight to start the second half and 24-of-28 over the final 20 minutes.
Akwasi Yeboah led the way for Stony Brook with a game-high 25 points and seven rebounds while going 16-for-20 from the charity stripe.
