Manhattan has tallied a goal in three consecutive games. If they find the net against the Hawks, the Jaspers will have scored in four straight matchups for the first time since 2015.
Conference Ranks
In 2017, Manhattan is tied for first in the MAAC with two shutouts, tied for second with 38 shots and third with just three goals allowed.
The Road Less Traveled
This will be the first and only trip the Jaspers will make to Pennsylvania this season. Every other matchup has been played or will be played in New York or New Jersey.
Scouting the Hawks
Saint Joseph's is 1-1-1 to start the 2017 campaign, defeating local rival Temple and drawing against Hartford before falling to MAAC foe Quinnipiac in their last game.
Matt Crawford has supplied the offense for the Hawks, scoring all four goals. In goal, Greg O'Connell and Trevor Nicol have split time in net, combining for 11 saves and a 0.93 goals-against average.
The Hawks were selected to finish 12th in the A-10 in the preseason rankings.

This season marks the 50th anniversary of the Men's Soccer program. Manhattan will be hosting a special Alumni Day on Saturday, September 30 starting with the annual Alumni Game at 11:00 am.
