Senior Mary Donnelly (Temecula, CA / Chaparral) registered season-highs in kills (10) and hitting (.471), but it wasn't enough as Manhattan dropped a 3-0 decision to Niagara by scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-20.

The Jaspers fall to 0-18 and 0-6 in the MAAC while the Purple Eagles improve to 10-6 and 6-1 in the league.

Despite the loss, Manhattan hit a season-best .341, fueled by a season-low six hitting errors.

Junior Kenza Hall (Oakland, CA / Middle Tennessee) also had a solid match with seven kills, on .545 hitting, while freshman Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) and senior Sandra Lozanova (Pernik Bulgaria / Fresno State) had five kills.

Nicole Matheis had a match-high 20 kills, on .514 hitting, to lead the Niagara effort.

The Jaspers continue their four-match homestand tomorrow against Canisius with opening serve slated for 1:00 pm.
