Fairfield, CT – After posting its first win of the year last week, Manhattan (1-21; 1-8 MAAC) begins the second half of its MAAC schedule with matches at Fairfield (14-6; 9-0 MAAC) and Quinnipiac (6-18; 5-6 MAAC).

Manhattan dropped a hard-fought 25-20, 25-23, 25-14 match to the Fairfield, despite 10 kills from junior Sandra Lozanova, on .292 hitting. Freshman Erin Hoener also added six kills, on .417 hitting.

Jaspers Claim First Win Against Saint Peter's
Manhattan set down Saint Peter's in straight sets by scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 26-24 last Saturday in earning its first win of the year. Senior Mary Donnelly had 11 kills, on .476 hitting, with eight digs to pace the Jaspers.
Ace You Very Much
Manhattan registered a season-high nine aces in the aforementioned victory.
Big Matches
Junior Zoe Lindsey also had a big match, recording nine kills, nine digs and 32 assists while Lozanova matched Lindsey with nine kills and four aces.

First-year Head Coach Lora Sarich also recorded her first win at Manhattan by virtue of a three-set victory against Saint Peter's.
Among The Leaders
- Junior Alyssa Rehrer is second in the MAAC with 4.58 digs per set and has registered double-figures in 18 matches, highlighted by a career-high 25 at Siena.
- Freshman Erin Hoener is second in the MAAC in hitting at .297 while Lozanova is 10th at .217.
