Riverdale, NY - Fueled by a total team effort, Manhattan defeated Saint Peter's in straight sets by scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 26-24 in picking up its first win over the year.
The victory was also the first for Lora Sarich in Riverdale and improves the Jaspers record to 1-19 and 1-7 in the MAAC while the Peacocks fall to 0-20 and 0-9 in the MAAC.

Junior Mary Donnelly (Temecula, CA / Chaparral) continued her recent hot streak, finishing with a match-high 11 kills, on .476 hitting, while junior Zoe Lindsey (McHenry, IL / McHenry CC) narrowly missed out on a triple double with nine kills, nine digs and 32 assists. Classmate Sandra Lozanova (Pernik, Bulgaria / Fresno State) matched Lindsey with nine kills while also registering four aces.

- Donnelly has now recorded double-figures in kills in the last three matches, averaging 3.2 kills per set, on .364 hitting, and 2.0 digs per set during that time.
- Manhattan posted a season-high nine aces.
- Junior Alyssa Rehrer (Lorton, VA / South County) registered 17 digs.
- Down 23-21 in the third set, the Jaspers ripped off a match-clinching 5-1 run with Donnelly closing out the victory.
- Lozanova had five kills and three aces in the decisive third set while Donnelly had five kills.
- Manhattan hit .342 in the first set with junior Kenza Hall (Oakland, CA / Middle Tennessee State) registering five kills and Lindsey four.
- Saint Peter's hit .132 and was led by Alexis Sharp and Caitlinn Williams, each of whom had six kills.
- Today was the program's Serving Hope match, in which fans could write a special note to those fighting breast cancer.
