Burlington, VT - Megan Kikosicki scored in the 98th minute to lead New Hampshire to a 1-0 win over Manhattan in the first match of the TD Bank Classic.

With the victory, the Wildcats improve to 1-0-2 while the Jaspers fall to 1-2.

Despite the setback, freshman Olivia Printy (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL / St. Joseph Academy) matched her career-high with six saves.

In the opening stanza, Manhattan posted the first major scoring opportunities of the match as freshman Arianna Montefusco (Levittown, NY / General Douglas MacArthur) and Dylan Burns (Manchester, CT / Manchester) each peppered UNH with shots only to be denied by Mimi Borkan.

The Wildcats were only able to muster one shot on goal in a stanza dominated by the Jaspers.

After hallftime, both offenses came alive but were unable to find paydirt as Printy made five stops and Borkan registered three saves.

Senior Erica Modena (Massapequa, NY / Massapequa) had a chance to win it in the 88th minute but had her shot denied.

In the extra session, senior Jenny Bitzer (Messstetten, Germany / Louisiana Tech) missed wide in the 92nd minute before UNH scored the aforementioned game-winning score when Kikosicki picked up a loose ball before finding the back of the net.

Manhattan will next play Vermont on Sunday, August 28 at 1:30 pm in the finale of the TD Bank Classic.
