Hamden, CT - Quinnipiac (3-13; 1-7 MAAC) defeated Manhattan (4-12; 0-7 MAAC) 12-8 despite four goals from senior Stefanie Ranagan (Yorktown Heights, NY / Yorktown).
Ranagan's also became the 18th member of the Jaspers' 100-point club with her first goal of the game.
The teams traded scores to open the game before the Bobcats ripped off five-straight goals in jumping in front 6-1.
The Quinnpiac lead would grow to 8-2 before senior Claire Roediger (Katonah, NY / Somers) capped the first-half scoring with an unassisted goal.
Manhattan then opened the second half with four-straight goals as Ranagan found the back of the net three times and Roediger once in trimming the deficit to 8-7 with just over 15 minutes to play.
Unfortunately, the Bobcats ended the game on a 4-1 run closing out the 12-8 victory.
Between the pipes, freshman Nikki Prestiano (Cortlandt Manor, NY / Yorktown) made six saves.
The Jaspers will conclude their season on Wednesday, April 27 against Fairfield with opening draw slated for 3:00 pm.
