 The Manhattan women's soccer team dropped its third conference game of the season as the Jaspers fell 5-0 at Siena (6-4, 1-2 MAAC) on Friday afternoon. Saints' senior Ashleigh Barone and junior Caitlin Cahalan posted two goals apiece as Manhattan (2-8-1, 0-3 MAAC) dropped its fourth straight match.

Siena, the reigning MAAC champions, jumped on the Jaspers early scoring twice in the first 17 minutes, and three times in the first half. Cahalan's capitalized for the Saints first goal 9:45 into the match when she connected from 25 yards out after a failed Manhattan clear out of the defensive end. Cahalan assisted Barone on Siena's second goal at 16:45.

Saints freshman Katie Zambrano put Siena ahead 3-0 in the 41st minute when she took a feed across goal from Barone and finished inside the far post. Jaspers' junior goalkeeper Kara Davis was on record for the loss with six saves over 70 minutes of action. Manhattan sophomore Maria Sanzari finished out the match in net for the Jaspers and registered one save.

Barone gave Siena a four goal advantage in the 56th minute, marking her team leading sixth tally of the year. Then in the 65th minute Cahalan logged her second goal of the match and fifth of the season on the third assist of the game from senior Lindsay Tegas.

Siena outshot Manhattan 18-2 in the match. Saints' goalkeeper Laura Ettinger managed to earn the shutout without recording a save.

Manhattan is back in action on Sunday when the Jaspers visit Marist. Kick off is slated for 1 p.m. in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
