Sullivan pitched a compete game for Manhattan, letting in only one run off of six hits while striking out seven. Michel finished the game 1-2 with her RBI as Genovese finished the game 1-3.
In the second game, Saint Peter's would be the one to score first as they put up three runs in the bottom of the second inning. The Peahens would add two more in the fourth as the Lady Jaspers faced a 5-0 deficit. Not to be counted out,
But the Lady Jaspers could not make a comeback as they would fall in the second game and split the series on the day.
Michel went 2-3 in the second game, making her 3-5 on the day with one RBI. Ashley Rampino also posted a 2-3 performance in the second game as she pitched 1.1 innings, giving up only two hits and letting in an unearned run.
The Lady Jaspers will return home on Tuesday, April 15 to take on
