Loudonville, N.Y. (April 9, 2006)- Jenny Carman and Molly Pheterson combined for nine goals as Manhattan posted a 14-9 MAAC win at Siena this afternoon. The Lady Jaspers improve to 4-6, and even their MAAC record at 2-2.

Siena scored the game's first three goals to put Manhattan in an early hole, but Carman scored three of the game's next four goals to spark a 7-2 Lady Jasper run, capped by a Pheterson tally with 1:10 left before the break. Manhattan took a 6-5 lead into the locker rooms.

After the Saints scored the first goal of the second half to even the score at 6-6, Manhattan the next five goals, and seven of the next eight, to take control of the game, holding a 13-7 lead with 12 minutes left in the game.

The next 10 minutes elapsed without a goal, before Siena scored two of the last three over the final 2:06 to provide the final margin.

Carman added an assist to her five goals, while Brenna Tinari scored one goal, but handed out four assists. Alicia Psillos (2 goals, 1 assist) and Erin Warren (1 goal, 1 assist) also tallied multi-point games.

Ashley Devins made 12 saves in net for the win.
