Riverdale, N.Y. (October 29, 2005)- The MAAC Women's Soccer postseason awards were announced tonight at the MAAC Awards Banquet at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. Manhattan placed two student-athletes on the All-MAAC Second Team and a third on the MAAC All-Rookie Team. In addition, the Lady Jaspers led all MAAC schools with 12 representatives on the MAAC All-Academic Team.
Senior
Suzanne Graham and junior
Katie Kuntz were each named to the All-MAAC Second Team as backs. Graham, a senior co-captain, was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on September 12 and tied for the team lead with three assists, while Kuntz tallied two goals for the Lady Jaspers.
Freshman
Brittany Duhamel received MAAC All-Rookie Team recognition. The 5-6 back received MAAC Rookie of the Week honors on September 6, and, along with Graham and Kuntz, helped the Lady Jaspers post seven shutouts over their 20 games.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution, be a significant starter or reserve and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Manhattan conclude the season with six wins under first-year head coach
Sean Driscoll, the most for a Lady Jasper team since 2002. The five non-conference wins by Manhattan was the most since the 1995 season, and the most for the Lady J's since the MAAC expanded to 10 teams for the 1997 season.
