Micah Rembrandt

Micah Rembrandt is in his third year as an assistant/diving coach.

Rembrandt is 2017 ECAC Diving Coach of the Meet and under his tutelage, divers have rewritten the Manhattan record books, setting new school records in each of his three seasons in Riverdale. 
  
Rembrandt arrived in Riverdale after an impressive collegiate career, finishing as a three-time Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championship individual finalist. On top of excelling in the pool, Rembrandt also aided the program in training, leading dry-land exercises and organizing training trips to Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

Out of the water, Rembrandt was the Diving Chair for the university's Athletics Alumni Committee. In this position, he organized alumni social events with diving alumni and coordinated fundraising efforts, including Columbia's "Giving Day" initiative.
 
On the coaching side, Rembrandt filled in as a substitute coach for the Columbia Varsity squad and currently coaches for Asphalt Green. In addition, to raise additional funds for the Lions, he taught diving lessons to children and adults in the area.
 
Rembrandt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics-Philosophy at Columbia. He is originally from Solon, OH, where he was a three-time All-American diver in high school.
