Allie Bassetti is in her sixth season as an assistant coach at Manhattan and her third as the program's recruiting coordinator.

Bassetti was recently named to the WBCA's Thirty Under 30 list, which recognized 30 up-and-coming women's basketball coaches age 30 and under at all levels of the game. Each honoree has exemplified their involvement in community service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner, and attitude and professional association involvement.

During her time with the Jaspers, she has focused on the development of the team's point guard-position players, including Gabby Cajou, the first player in program history to be selected as the MAAC's Sixth Player of the Year, and All-MAAC Third Team honoree Amani Tatum, who led the league in assists per game (4.4), steals per game (2.7), and three-point field goals per game (2.3) during the 2017-18 campaign.

A 2013 graduate of Rowan University, Bassetti came to Riverdale after three years as the director of basketball operations at American. She began her collegiate coaching career at her alma mater, working on practice planning, film breakdown and scouting reports, while also serving as Rowan’s recruiting coordinator.  She then spent three seasons at American from 2013-16, helping the Eagles make two postseason appearances. American won 22 games and qualified for the Women’s NIT in 2013-14 before posting a school-record 24 victories en route to its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth the following season.

In addition, Bassetti was the head coach of the Philadelphia Belles Nike Travel Team from 2008-12 and served as practice coordinator for the Philadelphia Belles AAU team from 2008-11. She has also worked as an assistant events coordinator and site coordinator for U.S. junior national tournaments, and has served as a clinician and counselor for Blue Star Basketball.

Bassetti played point guard at Rowan from 2008-10, leading the Profs to consecutive New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) playoff appearances. While at Rowan, she was an assistant coach with national powerhouse Sts. Neumann-Goretti High School in South Philadelphia for two seasons (2010-12).
