Biography

2013-14: Had a great Junior season for the Jaspers…swam several important races throughout the season…was part of a record breaking 800 freestyle relay at the MAAC Championships.

2012-13: Was a double-winner against St. Francis (11/18/12) placing first in both the 500 and 1000 freestyle...also took first in the 50 and 100 free against Mount St. Vincent (11/27/12)...part of the school record breaking 400 freestyle relay team at the ECAC Championships, taking 8th place...was on the 200 free relay team that finished 10th at the ECAC's.

2011-12: Made an immediate impact as a member of the Jasper relay teams...part of the school record 200 and 800 freestyle relay squads...placed second in the 100 free vs. St. Francis (NY) on 11/19/11...won the 200 free at Marywood on 10/15/11.

Before Manhattan: Was captain of swim team senior year...a Staten Island Advance All-Star swimmer.

Personal: Born on July 16, 1993...daughter of Robert Geissler and Barbara Coohey-Geissler...has two older sisters, Heather and Cristin, who swam for Sacred Heart University.
