Summary

Biography

2013-14: Had a strong showing at the MAAC Championships in his junior year, swimming the 100 and 200 yard backstroke events as well as the 100 yard butterfly event...looking to improve on all of his times next season, as a senior for the Jaspers.

2012-13: Competed in the 200 butterfly against Bridgeport on 1/21/13 placing fifth...participated in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays against Fairfield (10/20/12)...member of the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2011-12: Placed third in the 200 IM vs. NJIT on 11/20/11...took fifth in the 200 free against Baruch on 11/18/11...part of the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams while also competing in the 100 back against St. Francis (NY) on 11/19/11.

Before Manhattan: Three-year swimmer at Chaminade...captain of the team senior year.

 

Personal:  Born August 15, 1993... son of Stephen Pepe and Irene Laakkoren... has an older sister, Samantha, and older brother, Karl...sister Samantha swims for Oneonta...
