2013: Four appearances out of the bullpen ... struck out seven in four innings during the season ... held opponents scoreless in first three appearances.

2012: Made five appearances before suffering a season-ending injury... struck out five batters in 6 1/3 innings of action... season debut came at Florida Atlantic (2/25) pitching one hitless inning... received first start of the season in a victory over Hofstra going 3 1/3 hitless innings without and earned run and four strikeouts.

2011: Started five of 14 appearances... posted three wins and a 4.89 ERA... finished fourth on the team with 25 strikeouts in 35.0 innings of action... made collegiate debut at Western Carolina (2/26)... earned first career victory by pitching three scoreless innings and allowing only one hit in a 6-3 decision at Seton Hall (3/16)... picked up second win in a MAAC start at Siena (3/27) going six innings with three strikeouts and only one earned run in the 5-3 win... earned third win of the season at Columbia (4/20)... maintained a 1.74 ERA with eight strikeouts in 10 1/3 innings over five MAAC appearances.

BEFORE MANHATTAN: Lettered four years at John Jay Cross River for head coach Geoff Curtis... earned First Team All-New York State Class A and All-Section I honors as a senior after posting a 8-0 record with 83 strikeouts over 53 innings pitched... recorded a 0.95 ERA, yielding only nine earned runs his senior season and was named League A Player of the Year...All-Section I Honorable Mention as a junior and sophomore... registered a 5-1 record, 2.24 ERA, struck out 23 batters and allowed just eight runs in 25 innings as a junior for the Indians... a multi-talented player, also hit .356, drove in 18 RBI and had two home runs in 2009... played summer ball with the Taconic Rangers.

PERSONAL: Majoring in marketing... the son of Kenneth and Robin Hirschberg... has a sister Alyssa who attended Keene State University.
