2013-14: No better way of finishing your career as a swimmer at Manhattan than by breaking six records...snapped his old record in the 500 freestyle and 400 IM...broke a record in the 1000 and 1600 freestyle as well...helped set school records in the 800 free and 400 medley relay's for the second year in a row...was one of six Jaspers to be added to the All-Academic Team for the MAAC.

2012-13: Helped anchor the Jaspers distance swimmers with multiple event wins throughout the regular season...set a school record in the 500 freestyle, finishing 7th at MAAC's...broke another school record, the 400 IM, at the MAAC Championships with a 12th place finish...helped set school records in the 800 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relays...was a member of the 800 free relay team that finished fifth at the ECAC's...placed 7th at the ECAC's in the 1650 free, 11th in the 500 free and 10th in the 200 fly...member of the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2011-12: Well-rounded swimmer with good distance ability...won 16 total events as a sophomore...set the school record in both the 50 and 200 fly events...was a member of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that broke school marks at the MAAC Championships...rebroke his own program record in both the 500 and 1000 freestyle.

2010-11: Had numerous multiple event wins inclduing against Pace (10/22). Lehman (10/23), and Fairfield (11/13)...broke the school record in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle as well as the 200 fly while taking part in the record breaking 200, 400, and 800 freestyle relay, 200 and 400 medley relay teams.

Before Manhattan: Four-year letterwinner as member of Saint Peter's high school swimming team... earned Staten Island Advance All-Star accolades and was a N.Y. State Qualifier during junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Born July 9, 1992... son of Mark and Patricia Sweeney... has a brother, Timothy, and a sister, Breanne... majoring in engineering.
