Biography

2013: Started all 51 games he played ... split time between first base and third base ... MAAC All-Academic team member ... tied for team lead with five home runs ... tied for team lead with 33 runs scored ... cranked two home runs and drove in three in 3-for-4 game vs. Youngstown State on March 9 ... went 3-for-5 with a double at Seton Hall on March 16 ... a day later, was 3-for-5 again with two runs scored in a win over UMass ... went 2-for-4 with two RBI on April 24 vs. Albany ... ripped a solo homer on May 12 vs. Fairfield.

2012: Started all 58 appearances, making 40 starts at first base... named to MAAC Academic Honor Roll... finished the season ranked in the top-5 of the team for hits (47), RBI (26), total bases (69) and sacrifice bunts (5)... notched 14 doubles, which tied for the fifth most in the MAAC... hit .225, posted a .330 slugging percentage and .325 on-base percentage... smashed two home runs and had one triple... drove in the game-winning run in the top of the 11th inning in the MAAC Championship game, and recorded the final out unassisted to secure a 3-2 victory over Canisius (5/27) earning Manhattan its second straight crown... registered 10 multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit performances in victories over Army (4/4) and Niagara (4/7) ... delivered the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 6-5 victory over Fordham (4/11)... posted seven multi-RBI performances, including three RBI efforts in wins over Florida Atlantic (2/25), Marist (3/25) and Fordham (4/11)... held a season long hit streak of nine games from March 25 to April 7... had a season-high 18 game reached base streak, the third longest on the team... finished second on the team being hit by pitches 17 times... started all 24 MAAC games, batting .244 against league opponents and driving in 13 runs... posted five doubles and one home run in league contests.

2010: Started 45 of 46 appearances... drove in 17 runs, scored 31 runs and posted a .409 on-base percentage... recorded 36 hits, including six doubles, one triple and three home runs... registered 10 multi-hit games, including 3-hit performances in wins at Long Island (3/23) and against Siena (5/21)... posted four multi-RBI games and hit .248... stole five bases and was hit by pitch 22 times, tying for the third most in the MAAC... biggest hit of the season came in the regular-season finale victory over Siena (5/21), notching a two-out RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning, helping the Jaspers comeback in a must win game to qualify for the MAAC Tournament... launched the game winning walk-off home run in a 2-1 victory over Columbia (4/21)... went 2-for-3 from the plate and hit a home run in collegiate debut at #10 Miami (2/26).

BEFORE MANHATTAN: Four year starter at Holy Cross High School under head coach Mike Phelan... named All-State, All-City and All-League after batting .478 with 26 RBI, three home runs and three triples helping the Crusaders to a 18-5 record as a senior... pitched 53.1 innings with 30 strikeouts, yielding a 2.62 ERA and .170 batting average against in his final season at Holy Cross... registered a .400 batting average, 18 RBI, seven doubles, three triples and a home run, while also posting a 5-2 record on the mound, including three saves and a 2.16 ERA in 55 innings as a junior... selected All-Naugatuck Valley League and All-City at conclusion of season... received All-City honors as a sophomore... multi-sport athlete who lettered four years in basketball for head coach Edmund Generali... named 2009 Naugatuck Valley League Male Athlete of the Year... played summer ball with the Waterbury Post #1 American Legion and participated in the Rawlings Futures Game... member of the National Honor Society and was named to the Republican-American All-Academic Baseball Team.
