Biography

2013: Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team…Started 44 games, splitting time between all three outfield positions (18-left, 15-right, 11-center)…Finished career third all-time at Manhattan with 182 games played, one shy of tying the program record…Hit everywhere between fifth and ninth in the lineup…Tied for the team lead with four stolen bases…Also dropped down five sacrifice bunts and registered one sacrifice fly…Recorded two hits, including a double, and scored a run at Elon on March 3…Put together a seven-game hitting streak from March 17-23…Belted a two-run homer, part of a 3-for-3 afternoon, against Albany on March 18…Drove in two runs against Cornell on March 23…Smoked a game-tying two-run double in the bottom of the ninth, then scored the winning run one batter later in the Jaspers’ 9-8 triumph over Columbia on March 26…Went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored in game one of a doubleheader against Rider on April 13, then drove in another run in the nightcap…Led off the second inning with a double and later scored in the second game of a doubleheader at Niagara on April 21…Had an RBI single and scored twice in game one of a twinbill against Marist on April 27…Led off the sixth inning with a single and later scored during Manhattan’s game-tying rally in an eventual 5-4, eight-inning victory over Siena on Senior Day (April 28).

2012: Started all 47 games, primarily in center field…Finished second on the team with a .263 batting average and third with 30 hits…Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in game two of a doubleheader at Lafayette on March 24…Notched two hits in the first game of a doubleheader at Siena on April 14…Recorded two outfield assists in the second game of a twinbill at Fairleigh Dickinson on April 25…Had a pair of doubles, scored two runs and drove in another in a 12-4 win over Niagara at Gaelic Park on April 28…Collected three of the Jaspers’ five hits, going 3-for-3 with a double, in the opener of a twinbill against Wagner on May 2…Ended the season on a three-game hitting streak…Tallied a combined three hits and four RBIs while also scoring a run in the season-ending doubleheader sweep at Saint Peter’s on May 6.

2011: Played in 45 games, starting 42 times in right field…Hit .258 with 25 hits (including two homers), 13 runs scored and 14 RBIs…Connected for two hits, including an RBI single, against Green Bay in the Rebel Spring Games on March 16…Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, including a steal of home, against Sacred Heart on March 19…Scored twice in a win over Lafayette on March 20…Had a two-run single and later stole home in game two of a doubleheader at Quinnipiac on March 27…Crushed first career home run, a solo shot, in the first inning of a 9-7 win at Wagner on March 31…Put together a seven-game hitting streak from April 10-20…Had a pair of RBIs in a 13-1 win over Siena on April 16…Belted a first-inning grand slam in a 9-0 rout of Saint Peter’s in game one of a doubleheader on May 7…Followed up that effort by going 3-for-4 in the second game…Delivered a two-run single against Iona in the MAAC Tournament on May 13.

2010: Emerged as a regular in the lineup, playing in 46 games and making 40 starts in right field…Ripped a two-run single, her first collegiate hit, in the season opener against Colgate on March 13…Went 2-for-2 with a walk against Green Bay on March 15, then had another two-hit effort against Colgate the next day, going 2-for-3 with a run scored…Drove in a run in the Jaspers’ 11-0 victory in the first game of a doubleheader at Saint Peter’s on May 2…Scored nine runs…Made just one error in 58 defensive chances and recorded a team-high seven outfield assists.

Before Manhattan: Helped lead Immaculate Heart Academy to the 2009 league, county and state championships…Selected first team all-league, second team all-county and second-team all-state as a senior…Earned an honorable mention all-county selection in 2008…Named second team all-league following both her sophomore and junior seasons after earning honorable mention all-league recognition as a freshman…Also played soccer.
